Dude,
I'm pretty sure that the '71-73 Capri key will work, although the GT5 and
GT5-S used a DIFFERENT ignition switch. If you can get the door open, it's
not that difficult to gain access to the ignition system.
1) Remove the plastic covers that surround that portion of the steering
column (held in place with two phillips screws)
2) Remove the four allen-head bolts which secure the steering column to the
underside of the dash.
The whole column (including the ignition switch) will now drop down in your
lap. It's a simple matter at this point to unscrew the lock portion of the
ignition switch and remove it. A locksmith can then make a key for it in his
shop. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
However, it's also childishly simple to hot-wire the car at this point, so
don't leave it lying around unattended...
