Well the old goose is driveable again after sitting for close to two
months of beautiful autumn Wisconsin weather. (Good thing we have that
Alfa Spider for a backup.) The sucker was leaking clutch fluid like
crazy. It's got a new master slave and clutch cylinder now. Parts cost
around $260.00. Not too bad. Since I'm a little mechanically challenged
my trusted local Italian mechanic got the messy job done. It took awhile
to find some parts that weren't so expensive. Thanks to Steve L and
others for info, advice, etc. It's great to hear that beautiful rumble
behind me again even if only for a short while until the weather changes
for good. Ciao!
