I was perusing the Dec. issue of Popular Science today and was surprised =
by an article entitled " 1999 Best of What's New", which included a =
paragraph with photo on a new concept for automotive taillights, =
i.e.,red laser illumination of thin clear lenses which eliminates the =
need for tail light cavities and parobolic reflectors. The surprising =
thing was the photo, which showed a small portion of the left rear of a =
car, highlighting the new concept taillights. Just above the lights was =
the deTomaso script nameplate as originally attached to our P-cars. The =
body shape, however, was rounded - possibly the new Mangusta? Has =
deTomaso found a new product line? Inquiring minds need to know!
