DeTomaso Mailing List: November 99, Message #339

We had the good fortune to have Steve Carvahal visit us last evening in the 
mountains outside Albuquerque. Our New Mexico De Tomaso "Swami", Jim Demick, 
could not make it at the last minute. Steve was up from El Paso picking up a 
killer engine for his Pantera.

We also recruited Steve for Silver State. Steve also wants to run the Roger 
Ward race in Ft. Stockton the first week of April. I am planning to attend, 
and I believe Jim Demick is going to also. We will also try to get a couple 
of more guys out of Albuquerque (Hey Brian, got your ears on!).

We had a great dinner and visit. He is truly a nice guy.

Steve will also add a new dimension to Team Pantera Racing. As most of you 
know, we have a tow truck, a catering team, and now we will have our own 
lift! Steve has one of those awesome trailers with a lift inside!

Any of you other Texas "hot foots" going to come to Ft. Stockton? Come one 
Kirby, bring the Longchamp! It is going to be an absolute blast. Mad Dawg is 
going to be there, if only to serve pasta!
