Nolan,

Well, 5093 isn't in the registry.  It is within 10 cars of being a 1973 (by 
build date), but the VINs immediately before and after are THPNMT (5088 and 
5098) which are both 1972 build dates (the character "M" is for 1972.)  5105 
has the code THPNNJ, indicating a 1973 build date.  Whether your car is 
considered a '73 or not is open to debate; 5055 is listed as a '72 while 5053 
is a '73.  Really, it probably depends upon the dealer that initially sold it 
and how they elected to register it.

Your car is right near the transition period between the early style 
(two-pod) dashboard and the later L-model dash with both instruments in a 
V-shaped pod.
