| Subject: | My Pantera Tape Finally Arrived! |

To All,
It finally arrived! As you may recall, this past spring I had my Pantera
video taped by a German Television crew here in New Mexico. I had titled the
posting to this forum "Ever had an airplane give you a haircut?" because the
story revolved around the New Mexico state police chasing speeders by
aircraft. I also wrote a story about it for Pantera International. One
delay after another postponed the arrival of the video which aired on the
German version of ESPN called "Fazination Oldtimer" (loosely translated as
Vintage Car World).
It really turned out fantastic! Even though the narration is completely in
German the entire program is almost 60 minutes long and incredible! My
portion of the program is approximately 15 minutes and the rest is on lost of
other vintage cars including Jaguar, Mercedes, great Vintage races (which
included Shelby Mustangs, Mini Coopers (man, can they corner!) Volkswagens
and such. I was rivited to the TV watching it!
What I thought was a blast is that the VERY first thing that appears on the
beginning of the program is my burnout which cracked the camera lens! Way
too cool!
Even if you HATE Panteras the rest of the stuff on the tape is really great
even though it is in German! Hey, we should have a big party and Peter the
German could translate for us! Man, we have someone available for anything
in this club! :o)
I contacted the guy who converted the video from PAL (the European system) to
our NTSC (I think that's what our system is called) and he said if I order 10
or more copies of the tape, he can greatly reduce the price of transfering it
and it comes out as a very high quality first generation copy. I was quite
impressed with the quality of my copy.
So what it boils down to it this. The cost of the tape will be $18.20
(includes $3.20 for Priority Mail shipping). If you would like a copy of
this tape, please e-mail me privately. I will give you all the details as to
where to send the payment.
Hey, that reminds me....I ordered the Car and Driver Video of Ron Graves car
many moons ago and still haven't recieved it. Has anyone out there got their
copy from Car and Driver yet?
