DeTomaso Mailing List: December 99, Message #99

Well, I'm almost there.  I've been spending time putting new gauges in my P
car.  So far only one gremlin.  My new fuel gauge reads full with only a
quarter of a tank.  I can think of two possible causes:

1)  Wrong gauge.  I ordered the model with 0 ohms at empty and 90 ohms at
full.  Can anyone confirm or correct the resistance required.

2) I am not grounding directly to the tank as the instructions direct.
Since the stock fuel level gauge is grounded common to the other gauges, I
assumed that approach to be adequate.  Anyone know otherwise?

Any suggestions?
