That is what I thought, and I've checked those connections, I have two
ground straps.
I figure If I jump the battery directly to the starter, I would bypass any
problem with
the grounding.

PS Multiple wives ??? (Wife's Bus if you have only one wife, wives' bus if
you have more than one wife !)
