All,
Well, some of you may know that they are coming out with a 60 degree V8 tall
deck block. That'll be similar to a 289/302 style block, so that you can have
lots of room for your headers and everything. We are doing one up for our
stock car right now. A real benefit is the weight reduction...Uhhh, the block
alone will be about 30 or so pounds lighter than the Cleveland. You will
still have an intake problem, but whatever you come up with, it will also be
lighter than any Windsor or Cleveland intake, because it will be narrower.
I'm sure Ford will come up with an intake, but it will be race only stuff. I
assume it will have the Windsor bellhousing pattern, and you can bolt up just
about any of head to it.
