Zak, FWIW:

A friend in Stockholm imported a Sbarro-Pantera in the 80's from Germany
with funny flares. When he weighed the car, to get his import papers for
road use, it was very heavy. He wasn't allowed to put it on the road since
it was so much heavier compared to it's original papers (which had the
weight of a standard Pantera).
He had to rebuild it to a slim body to reduce the weight.
He thought this car had been used to get the molds.

I don't think any Swiss people is on the list but I've meet Swiss DeTomaso
owners a couple of times since -90 and no Sbarro cars has turned up or has
been on discussion. I'll meet them in Denmark in a couple of months and can
ask around (but please remind me later!).
