Espen,
When I went through my ZF and clutch last year I got all of the parts from
Pantera performance 303-660-9897. The pilot bearing was $19.70 (roller
type) and the release bearing was $21.90. It was good to know that I had
the exact and correct part and did not need to consume my time on trial and
error parts fitting. I also got my clutch parts and ZF seals from PP. They
were great!
When I first got my Pantera I used many hours of my time on parts
cross-referencing of lower cost parts for replacing my back brake pads. I
spent a bunch of time and got back pads that would work for about $34.00.
But the pads did not have the correct locking tab to keep the hand brake
mechanism aligned. When I replaced the front pads I just ordered new pads
from PP for $90 and they fit and worked perfectly.
What I learned, is that at one time many of the Pantera parts were not
available or super costly so people had to cross-reference parts. Now that
the parts are available and at a reasonable cost it might not be worth your
time to cross-reference parts numbers.
There are a number of Pantera Parts venders now that do a great job of
supporting Pantera owners and we should all be very thankful to have them.
Mike
