Bjarke,

Funny enough, I just got off the phone with HalTech here in the US about software versions, etc.

I'm using an F9 system running firmware version 7. My system uses throttle position and so far it running good below 4,000rpm. I just haven't gotten around to someone else driving so I can tweak the computer for the higher RPM's. It's pretty hard to control the throttle, watch the road, watch the computer and hit keys on the keyboard! Kinda' unsafe to say the least...

A better solution would be a chassis dyno which I'm looking into for Friday morning.

Have you contacted HalTech about their F9 system and see if it'll swap out with your F3? That seems to be the most logical and easy solution as the first step.

I'm just learning on my system what is good and what is bad and it is quite possible to mess around with the settings forever...

FWIW,

Kirby
