Charlie,

Have them check the motor mounts too..... before they get too far.

If you have a wierd "pulsing" when you slowly engage the clutch pedal, you
may have broken a pivot point on the Long style clutch used in many
cars....  three fingers that engage with the throw out bearing... one ends
up touching first, and cocks the bearing... then the next two touch as you
push in the pedal... until all three are touching, you can feel a
pulsing... with your foot....

Had a "clutch" problem that was a busted mount.... clutch is fine....

Replacing it anyway with a new Centerforce....

(In my Cougar.. not the Goose.... YET!)
