Interestingly enough, when I worked on my distributor this weekend, this is
exactly the kind of pin I had in mine. My trouble was that the gear was really
really tight on the distributor shaft. I would almost venture to say so tight
that it didn't need the pin, but I put the pin in anyway.
I've not had a problem with the pin as of yet, and perhaps this is why. It
really looks like two or three roll pins together as it is layered when wound.
