| Subject: | Shift Link Boot length estimate?? |
| Date: | Fri, 4 Feb 2000 02:08:56 -0500 |
Does anyone have a shift link boot handy that they can measure?
Actually, what I need to know is how far back from the end of the
mounting collar does it push when shifting so I can route the
plumbing for ZONKEY's modular 4.6L conversion.
home.earthlink.net/~rbarkley/Pantera I'm using the corrugated
stainless tubing that Earl's sells. It's pretty neat stuff.
I assume that the boot is supposed to be clamped to the shaft, but I
guess it could also just ride on it. Also, anyone found a
substitution for it? Seems like it's about the same size as some CV
boots, and they might work as well or better.
