I don't think so :-)

After the runs all day Saturday a race was held between the fastest drivers
in the red class (the most experienced drivers). I don't believe a Porsche
was even in that race, and at least 2 Pantera's (a black one that was wicked
fast and Dick Drenske's car) finished in places high enough to win trophies.

Today it rained so all the cars with race-only tires left early. Having
street tires on my Camaro I gave running in the rain a try. It was more
informative than running in the dry! I could feel the car's inputs a whole
bunch better than in the dry. One turn I even ran faster than I did when it
was dry (cause I could feel the onset of the required 4 wheel drift).

The weekend was a complete blast. If any of you get a chance to try a track
day do it - even if it's just a daily driver car and not your Pantera - it's
just plain fun!

Quick question: I talked to a local Porshe service center (which also is
heavy into racing Porshes) and the owner said something to the effect of
"whenever one of their 3 liter 914's hit the track, they "cleaned clock"
against the Panteras. Needless to say I was taken aback (but I'm curious),
what is the truth? Thanks. Cal. #2428r.
