It has been a few years (13) since I did this but if I remember correctly you
can just unbolt the plate that the motor and limit switches are mounted on and
unmesh it from the gear on the headlight bar. The whole assembly should lift
out. You may have to remove the radiator mounting bolts and push the radiator
ahead a little bit. I'm 800 miles away from my car so I can't go take a quick
look. Warning!! If the lights are part way up they will fall rapidly when the
gears unmesh.
