Subject:Vehicle Appraisal Rating System

Is there a common vehicle appraisal system? I got an
email about a P car for sale in St. Louis. The seller
described the car as a 1.5 using the rating system
below.

A rating of #1 means showroom new. #2 means a near
perfect, well restored car. #3 means the casual
observer will find no faults with vehicle. #4 is an,
unrestored daily driver. #5 a vehicle showing major
wear & #6 is an unsalvageable parts car.

IMHO I admit I'm still a nube, but have never heard of
this rating system. I would think there is some detail
missing in the above descriptions.
