DeTomaso Mailing List: April 2000, Message #199

Finally get the Kitty home yesterday from the Mod shop were it was
waiting for the new wheels(only five weeks now and still not here.)Got
tired of not being able to caress the poor thing.Have the new
tires(305/50/15&225/50/15) mounted to the old rims for rolling around
the shop.Wanted to admire the fine derrière with the fat wheels(usally
prefer my girls with skinny rears)and new custom made exhaust.
Then    lo and behold I notice the tail light lenses are different
colors.The left has the bottom part Reddish or amber(I'm a little color
blind mind you)and the right has the same part green........Dag
Nabit.Checked the Hall's catalog and there $140 each
Ouch.Any body want to trade a right green for right red or a left red
for left green(of course I'm using the previously discussed proper
orientation,.left being left and right is right but I here you can be to
far right which is bad if your on the left {^_^}
also need the bezel thingy for the ignition switch.Mine is AWOL and it
bugs me that it ran away from such a fine home.
