All,
 #4262 awoke from it's winter slumber this past week and while driving it
today I noticed that the speedo had stopped working. Cable removal showed
that it's still in one piece. I cleaned and lubricated the cable drive
while it was out of the housing and reinstalled it to the speedo head, I
then proceeded to attach a cordless drill to the ZF end and spun it over
and ...... nothing.  I imagine something failed in the head unit itself.
And ideas? Am I overlooking something simple?
