Well here is a little story that you might appreciate or perhaps not
appreciate.

A fellow Pantera owner that happens to have a W8 Vector as well recently
invited me to dinner. The purpose of the dinner was to give me the
opportunity to meet a gentleman that had come all the way from Germany to
see the Vector and do a photo shoot on the car. He was very knowledgeable
about cars.

Well our conversation strayed from the Vector and started talking about the
Pantera. Both of use expressed how much we like our cars. In fact the
Vector owner even stated that he preferred his Pantera to the Vector.

In our search for conversation, we ask the gentleman from Germany what car
lovers over there thought in general about the Pantera. This is where the
conversation turned south. I guess in trying to be respectful of his host
and with broken English he said that the cars are not well received in
Germany. Not quite understanding what he meant I asked him to explain. He
though for a minute and then put it in English that even I could understand.
His statement was simply that "The Pantera is a car that you would expect a
Pimp to drive."

I excused myself a short time later.

Now we know what our European friends do for a living. :)

Mike (and to think I could have had a W8) Trusty
