It took them 3 sets of heads to pull the numbers:
GT40P, Dart Sr., and then aluminum GT40X's.
Also 2 cams.
Fords using the GT40X's on there 393 cube stroker
Windsor crate motor. From the dyno numbers, it
looks like the heads (and possibly the hydraulic roller
cam) are the choke points. Better flowing heads
are available for the Windsor but they usually have
to change the valve size/location, plug location,
exhaust port flange/location, or rocker arm layout.
