Do you have a large or small head?  Generally speaking, the cheaper helmets
use a one-size-fits-all shell and the different head sizes are accomodated
with different thicknesses of the internal foam, etc core.

The more expensive helmets sometimes do not take this approach, so if you
have a small-ish head your wallet may be the only solution...
