	Bill et al,

I know this is true. And its absolutely fabulous. But what I am
saying goes way deeper. What I am really saying is lets cut the costs using
technology where we can. (I know some things are being done already). Then
lets use the savings to really go all out to support the Marque, Racing,
Rallys, Shows, fun runs, all manner of other "social" events. Pictures and
words are truly wonderful, but being there and doing it is even better.
(Even though I don't get the chance as much as I would like lately). I
would venture to say that there must be many, like myself, that would like
to see even more social type things going on, without having to raise costs
to members. Please understand, I am not knocking what is being done now in
the least. Its actually great and I know could not happen without lots of
dedication and effort by many volunteers, vendors support, etc. But maybe,
just maybe, we can make it even more fun, entertaining, enjoyable and
appealing to even more people, without putting more pressure on volunteers
and vendors alike. Maybe POCA can become the "Cutting Edge" club that would
become the benchmark for all others. (It already is in my mind, but I mean
hands down, no comparison, nothing beats it, simply better! :-)

Anyway, its only my own opinion. Everyone is entitled to one I
think. (Hopefully ya'll agree). Lets see what others think. Then go from
there.

Dan Miller in San Diego. "Just another FORD man!"

Dan and others -

Regarding support of track events, the brochure for the just completed Vegas
Track Event listed 5 sponsors, this year the list included POCA. Last
year's
financial difficulties precluded POCA from being a direct contributor, but
the
did contributed indirectly to last year's event.

PCNC has an active Sponsorship project for Track Events which has helped to
keep
participant costs very low. For more details please contact me off-line.

Thanks,
Bill Santos
Sponsorship Chairman
2000 Track Event Committee
