An excerpt from the VERY short-term owner of my GT5-S (he is DHL-ing the title to me tomorrow!!!!!! :-) :-) :-) )
I include this just for general information, I make the usual disclaimers....
YESTERDAY I HAVE HEARD FROM MY FRIEND MR. HANS-KARL LANGE, HE IS MOTOR
JOURNALIST AND WROTE SEVERAL ARTICLES ABOUT DE TOMASO IN AUSTRIAN,
GERMAN, SWISS AND JAPANESE MAGAZINES, THAT IN AUSTRIA 32 DE TOMASO CARS
WERE REGISTRATED LAST YEAR. WITH SOME CARS IN GARAGES OR UNDER
RESTORATION I THINK THERE WILL BE ABOUT 50 CARS IN THE COUNTRY.DO YOU
KNOW HOW MUCH ARE THERE IN SPAIN OR FRANCE?
THIS JOURNALIST NOW OWNES MY SECOND DEAUVILLE AND TOLD ME THAT THERE ARE
NEWS FROM THE FACTORY.THIS YEAR THEY WILL PRESENT A NEW VERSION OF THE
GUARA IN TURIN OR PARIS. THE SO CALLED GUARA GT WITH THE STRONGER M5
ENGINE FROM BMW, WITH WIDER WHEELS AND FENDERS, A CHANGED ROOFLINE WITH
AN AIR INTAKE ON THE TOP AND THE SAME STYLING CHANGES IN THE FRONT AND
ON THE INTERIOR AS THE NEW GUARA CONVERTIBLE YOU COULD SEE IN THE
FACTORY SHOWROOM LAST YEAR.
