Hey attention.  I went to buy some replacements for my Pilot MXX3 tires.
Tire rack told me that they are no longer made and they had them on back
order if they get them at all.  Seems that they are being replaced by the
Pilot Sport.  The Sport has a better tread rating, a 186mph speed but has
less dry traction and cost more.  THis means that they will not corner as
well.  And after the Vegas track, I like the cornering.  I also do not like
the tread of the Sports.  It just looks out of place.  Wonder what the new
tire will do to the Vipers .96G lateral.  I found some at Discount tire and
ordered them right away.  If you like the pilots and want to keep them,
order them now and get a spare set.
