DeTomaso Mailing List: May 2000, Message #179

Thanks to the many listees who responded to my ad  to sell
two sets of GoodYear Gatorbacks. The two lucky gentlemen who
were first to hit the reply button, thus insuring themselves
many more years of safe high speed motoring, were Michael
Conwell of Nevada City, CA and Geoffrey Thomas of NY, NY. I
hope you guys are happy with your new rubber. Both
transactions were smooth and trouble free, as would be
expected from a group of fine folk like ourselves. To those
who missed this opportunity, I'm sorry I didn't have more
rolling stock for sale. Conventional methods of marketing
these tires in the past (fliers, club newsletters, word of
mouth) were completely unsuccessful, proving that the
internet, and expecially this forum, rules! This is
obviously the place where Panteristi with the highest level
of interest and enthusiasm gather to exchange information,
expertise, encouragement and support. LONG LIVE THE LIST!
