Cal,
You are learning about how much a person can save by doing things themselves.
I painted my Pantera myself several years back. Everything including paint
(Guards Red Basecoat/clearcoat by Dupont), masking tape, sand paper,
thinners, cleaners, tack rags, new air compressor filters and even a new
paint gun (set me back a whopping $32) was total of $450! I even painted it
outside in my driveway. I guarantee that you would never guess the price of
the paint job on the car.
No, I don't cringe when I get a rock chip in the car :o)
Keep on keepin' on!
