This all depends,  A very stock cam pulls up to 21 inches.  My radical
turbo cam, which has very little overlap pulls 18 inches.  A mild cam will
pull 14 inches.  My hot cam in the 302 fairlane pulls 9 inches.  A really
radical roller cam will pull around 5.
