DeTomaso Mailing List: May 2000, Message #63

	I have a comment to make about the costs of the newsletters, etc.  I
know this is a draw for some people.  I enjoy the nice color pictures and
such also.  But I was thinking that maybe POCA could save some of the money
spent on all the printing if we focused on the quarterly as a color print
job/magazine as now, and all other items became something that was less
pricey.  My own personal thought is that we could have the regular magazine
in a WEB/E-mail format with attached pictures, etc.  (I know some local
chapter clubs are doing this kind of thing on the side now). I for one would
think it would be faster and possibly easier to do this.  

	I know not everyone has E-mail and access to the WEB.  But I would
expect most do.  I would rather see more money used to support track events,
car shows, fun runs, even local chapter events, then using it to pay for
printing.  (my own opinion of course).

	Anyway the mags and such are nice, but more outings and things more
directly related to driving, using, showing, etc, are what actually drew me
to the club in the first place and I for one would like to see more stress
there.  Its the modern world.  We do have the technology.  We should try to
use it to our overall advantage.  My 3 cents.
