DeTomaso Mailing List: May 2000, Message #86

Mike and other Detomaso Mini afficianados,

I just got back from the magazine stand and read Mikes commentary of Larry 
Stocks Detomaso Mini.  What a coincidence!

The latest issue of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars (one of those English car 
mags that everyone can't find) had a blurb on the cover in little orange 
letters which said "Innocenti Mini Cooper - Did the Italians build a better 
Mini than the Brits?".  I thought to myself, "I wonder if the Detomaso Mini 
is featured?"  Lo and behold, it is!  

They do a comparison test between two Innocenti's, a '73 and an '80 Detomaso 
Mini.  I haven't read it yet but it looks like fun!  

Just in case any of you out there like to collect anything related to the 
Detomaso marque, you should pick this one up!
