It looks to me, from carefully reading the deposition,  like Boyd's is doing
the suing, not the other way around. It seems to me that the current
president of Boyd's has a very close "working relationship" with Sendal
Wheels and this is what the suit is over. It appears that Sendal is
producing at least one wheel that is suspiciously similar to an existing
Boyd's design. Officially, B. Coddington Wheels and Boyd's are separate
entities. Boyd's ran into financial difficulties a few years ago and Boyd
Coddington's son started up his own wheel manufacturing business (B.
Coddington Wheels). It is my understanding that B.Coddington Wheels is
manufacturing some of the old Boyd's designs under some sort of licensing
agreement. This also explains why Boyd's has only one employee.
