To All,
Since everybody else has, I would like to give you my perspective on car
shows. Having been involved in many automobile shows in many aspects, they
are rarely fairly judged. It is a fantasy for anyone to think that they are.
There are humans involved, and where those are, there is trouble.
I rarely ever show my Pantera not because of these reasons, but because I
enjoy driving it to much. I would much rather be driving the Pantera for 5
hours than parking it in 100 degree sunshine in the middle of an asphalt
parking lot with no trees for shade (thats a typical New Mexico car show) but
I do enjoy talking with people about the car.
But, no matter what, whether I win, lose, draw or whatever, I am the luckiest
guy at the show! How come?
I get to drive the best car there home. Mine!
