What is involved specifically in changing this? You have to pull the engine, pull the ZF off, crack it open and swap gears? Can this be done by any garage or does it have to be a ZF guru-type?

A different, unrelated question, although it is related to high-speed driving. My GT5-S does NOT have a factory oil cooler, but later GT5-S cars DO. Colin Bradshaw has one of the last cars made by the factory, and his came with one. The Pantera 2 has one. They are mounted in the opposite side as the gas tank in the rear wheelwell. As long as I am in Europe, I think I will have the opportunity to run at, um, a little higher speeds than I would in the US (huge grin!!), and above 110-120 mph the oil temp tends to climb a little. Does anyone have experience with installing any of the Vendor's oil cooler kits? Anyone put one in a GT5-S or anything with big wheel wells?

Charlie,
Congratulations on the car. I forgot to mention to you and other late
model car owners that installing that new overdriven fifth gear makes a
vast improvement if you are running those small diameter rear tires.
