| Subject: | ventilation vent directions?? |
| Date: | Tue, 6 Jun 2000 09:05:37 -0400 |
I noticed one other odd thing about my new car. The vents in the dash are all installed backwards? Are they installed the same way in other late dashes? By backward, I mean they don't blow air where they ought to!
You can adjust the vents to blow air up or down, but not left or right. In front of the driver, there is a vent to the left and to the right. The vent on the left blows air to the left, which does a great job of blowing cool air-conditioned air directly at the window, instead of toward the driver. The vent on the right faces the right, so it blows air to the passenger. In front of the passenger are two vents, but they do the same thing - blow air toward the window and toward the driver.
The A/C would be much more effective if the vent in front of the driver blew air at the driver instead of the passenger! Were these vents installed by the factory workers after a slightly liquid lunch? Are other people's vents installed a little more logically?
