Bob, there was a Nor-Cal guy some years back with the same problem as yours,
and it was traced to two things: First, he was running an electronic
distributor with 52 degrees of usable ignition advance! The Space Shuttle
would overheat with that much advance... once the ignition was under control,
he tried everything you did, then went to a radiator shop. They found the
tubes in his radiator were not soldered to the fins anymore, due to age,
smog, vibration or plain poor workmanship. The shop duplicated his radiator
and the overheat disappeared with it. Just some suggestions- J Deryke
