OK finally got word from our local machine shop that the block I found for
my Aussi headed build up is in great shape but when the block was
disassembled and cleaned for storage the owner overly vigorously cleaned and
honed the cylinders and so my dreams of using standard bore pistons is up in
smoke, much to my disappointment and out lay of cash 0.030 it is. Any body
familiar with ROSS flat top pistons?? They are about twice the price of the
forged TRW's but are a whopping 106grams lighter 630grams Vs 524grams.  Does
Wiesco have a 0.020 or 0.030 off the shelf flat top for our cleveland
availalble I know they are 6 to 8 weeks out for custom pistons.
