DeTomaso Mailing List: June 2000, Message #4

Finally got to washing out the starboard side of #2428. Incredibly
filthy. Took more brush work and degreaser and will need to go over it
again. Not satisfied with the way the inside quarter panel "feels". So,
I'll do that again tomorrow. Very important if I'm to make that area
"rust free" as that area's water intrusion caused the passenger side
rocker to also rust (not as bad because the "shield" separating the
wheel well to the forward section of the rear quarter panel was complete
to the panel (unlike the gas tank shield).

So that's about it. After that, I plan on finishing the rest of the
engine bay once the car becomes a rolling chassis again. Stay tuned.
