Thomas, I would suspect, (my $.03 here...) this: no sloshing in tank= no gas in tank..... You wanna believe a gas guage??? Fill your bowls with gas externally, (easy on a Holley, not sure on Autolite..) and then see if it will fire up. If it fires and then dies about 20 seconds later, you be out of gas..... Been there, Steve
