Talking about using Vette seats in the Pantera as replacements - - -


of the C4 Vette seats, I really liked the 84 seats the best. They have a
lower and thinner seat cushion, higher side bolsters and are generally
just more comfortable and supportive for spirited driving than the later
model seats (94 for instance which had lower bolsters and thicker seat
cushions). They also might give better head room due to the lower seat
cushion.

You can buy these things from Vette specialty wrecking yards for fairly
reasonable prices too. Here in the east there is Contemporary Corvette
in Philadelphia. Over the years I've bought some spare recycled parts
from them and have never been disappointed in the quality.
