Ok...sounds like the best way is to go with the cut off valves. I just got back from ath local Lowes; they have ball valves from 3/8" to 1 1/2" But the ones with the nice lever on them are from 1/2" to 1 1/2". Looks like the 1/2" is it, but if yours are 3/8", I can shop around. Ned
