Them's good odds to be sure! I'm looking forward to next time when
I can be in Vegas in person and my cousin can stay home and buy raffle
tickets on line. So keep up the good operation! Dan.

Well (or should I say Wells), 335 online tickets were sold at $2
each. Would have been more but one of our own "listers" here
mistook the ticket prices and that made his order $90 short (it's
still not too late to buy $90 worth of half price tickets from Andy!).
This along with the fact that not all members may have gotten
their newsletter thus they didn't even know they could buy them.
As far as some not liking it, there is ALWAYS going to be
somebody not happy about something. I think since the whole
idea is to raise money for the club while having the prospect of
winning something just to make it fun. If I wanted to just gamble
being in Vegas I would think you could do it in other ways!
Anyhow, to make it so those that attended feel better, Andy did
limit the online users to the General raffle and only 2 of the target
raffles, plus we added one online target just to make sure someone
online did win, also there was a minimum purchase amount. Now
unless the club gets a bunch of angry letters I'm sure we will have
this again since the club in general did benifet, thus so did all the
members (even the grumpy ones without knowing it).
Personally I think it was really neat that there were Pantera owners
online listening in and were part of what was going on. If I was
1,000's of miles away and couldn't make it to Vegas I would like
being able in some small way to be part of the event.
