Subject:POCA Club Store Closed (2 weeks)
Date: Wed, 5 Jul 2000 19:20:23 -0400

The Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA) Club Store will be closed from 8
July Y2K until 24 July Y2K. The POCA Club store will not be able to
process any orders during that time.

You can still send your orders to the store via FAX, US Mail, or by
phoning, however, your orders will not be processed until after the 24th.

I am leaving for my two week Annual training with the Washington Air
National Guard, starting the morning of the 8th. I will be gone for two
weeks, until the 24th. I know Shelley is fully capable of taking care of
the paperwork associated with Club Store orders, however, all the inventory
is held in a storage locker and several boxes are very heavy. Becuase of
pre-existing injuries, Shelley can not lift more than about 30 pounds. So
I won't be able to rely on her to get things out of storage for shipment to
customers. This just means we'll have to close the store for a couple of
weeks while I'm gone.

Once I get back, and unwind, I will make every effort to complete the
orders that came in, by the 29th. This is only an estimate.

Shelley and I appreciate your patience and support during this time.

I will also be unsubscribing from the list for the two weeks. Much as I
hate to do this, I have found no way to "hook up" while I'm gone. Unlike
Capt. Mike Drew, I'm not a flyer and don't have super-ginchy-whiz-bang
network connections to rely on. I will most likely be fairly well isolated.

So if you need to send me something, please email me directly. I will be
able to check mail through Friday night, but then not again until the 24th.
This is a real bummer for me too. : (

Everybody take care while I'm gone.

Asa Jay
