Help, I need help! After installing a Jacob's pro street ignition system on
my pantera a very strange thing happened. The car now referred to as
Christine decided to run even when the ignition switch is selected off.
Quite puzzled, I watched the engine run for several minutes. When I pushed
on the brake pedal preparing to drop the clutch the engine died! Thinking it
was a fluke I tried it again, with the same results. After double checking
the wiring and installation with no problems noted, I checked the schematic.
I found that if I disconnected the voltage regulator the problem was gone.
So off I go the parts store for a new regulator. Whalla! Problem fixed with
new regulator. Now you know I would not be writing this letter if this was a
PERMANENT fix. The demon came back, after several hours of operation. So I
ask you my fellow Pantera owners can you help me? Schottrod.@aol.com
