  i've just changed my guages to the white face vdo style. with the guages i 
received a voltmeter in place of an ampmeter. my question is when i took out 
the ampmeter i saw  it had @ # 5 wire hooked to it.one wire was black the 
other red. doesn't the power go thru the guage? if i get rid of the amp guage 
do i hook both large wires together or will i be doing the wrong thing?
