Most of those '70s exhaust port-substitute plates were custom-machined by
some racing shop. Find one locally and take a 4V head in for them to see,
then describe what you want. Then get an estimate. Some are aluminum, and
some are steel like the ones shown on the cover engine of the August POCA
newsletter, built in late '99 by Al Leist of Machine Shop Services in San
Mateo, CA . Interesting engine- 350 Chevy block with 4V Cleveland heads...
FYI, those plates on E-bay were spacers to run 4V heads with a 351C 4bbl
intake on a 400 block, I believe. Good luck- J DeRyke
