This is a call to all you engine builders, designers...be you a factory
trained and certified race engine builder, or back yard builder....... and
all you "Stroker" guys hold tight...unless you are busting at the seams, and
just can't let this go on..... :-) ....then by all means jump in the
frey!
I want you to answer a few questions, and give my your valuable opinion as
to each components in my "dream" motor ! And please tell me "why" you
picked a certain component.
Please no fights, name calling, or automatic weapons......we just want to
have fun :-)
I am looking for:
HP.....Bunches...The best "overall" power.....high hp, with a broad torque
ban.
Reliability......it's has to turn at least 6500...and not be a hand grenade

Tractability.....It has to idle at a decent RPM, and have smooth
"streetable" power.
This is a "Stock Block" 351 Cleveland engine.....going to do duty in my
Pantera. Carburetor.....no turbo's, or EFI ! True Roller timing gear...no
gears. Aluminum Billet rocker arms. Manley Stainless valves. Hi Volume Oil
Pump. 7 to 10qt Oil Pan. Euro GTS Headers & Mufflers.
Please use any carburetor you want...Holley, Demon, etc.....oh... sorry no
Webers....had some on my B-Sedan...way back in the day....and we never got
along !
I know......I am making it difficult...Sorry !
Here's your choices.....

d) Aussie 2V...ala..... "Powerheads" CNC ported.

f) "Open Chamber" Stock
2. Block ...
