Robert,
Do whatever it takes to get a nice set of Corvette seats. Even if you don't
have a local junkyard with Corvettes in it, most quality junkyards are linked
by computer, so you should be able to get a set shipped to you.
Or, start perusing Hemmings or whatever and reach out to Corvette parts
sources directly. It would be worth extra $$$ to buy a set that are already
black, to save the expense of re-covering them.
