Paul,
Thanks for the added details. It confirms my latest fitting (just taking
a lunch break from). I'm going to try and mold some silicone in place.
It will stick to the tank but not the car. Also, I'm using two pieces of
1/8" aluminum that will fit over the bottom cross members. They will be
siliconed to the bottom of the tank and will spread the load on the
bottom of my (aluminum) tank.
