CHAR: grew up in Queens
Firsst: STOP RIGHT THERE.... QUEENS? Ah hah...no wonder u use such
vernacular! (hehe)... Well... I was born in Brooklyn, then exported to
California at one, yet, my change in environment hasn't appeared to nullify
the NewYorkness in me, and so it seems that being a New Yorker is somewhat
akin to heredity; you can't destroy or will it away.. but then.... why would
U want to? It makes for better driving, right??? : )
CHAR: and I guess that the phrase "flaming" Pantera
populous could have a pejorative connotation, even in NYC. Maybe
"passionate" Pantera populous would be a little bit more benign.
FirSSt: NO, NO NEED TO CHANGE U'R CHOICE.. "FLAMING" IS PERFECT... FLAMING
IS NOT NEARLY AS PEJORATIVE AS PASSION...... AT LEAST YOU CAN PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLAMES...SIMPLY ADORN U'RSELF IN NOMEX FROM HEAD TO TOES...
FROM PASSION.... OOOH BOY.. THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE EITHER HEAVENLY OR
DEADLY... NO PROTECTION DISCOVERED THUS FAR.
CHAR: My father once told me that "passion" is an asset in virtually any and
all
aspects of life.
FirSSt: & as they say.. "FATHER KNOWS BEST" ... Your Father must be a very
philosophical and brilliant man. This morning, I saw the movie, "Age of
Innocence" when i awoke... gee whiz, that was a very passionate and poignant
movie (to me anyways)..... Then...... I took the Pantera out for a drive to
my BBQ event... and that was a passionate and poignant ride... it drove so
fast and beautifully.... and don't you just think.... when my neighboring
driver, in a '98 Vette Pace car yelled out, "HEY WANNA TRADE?" that was one
of the most passionate and poignant moments.... (well to me anyways) i
thought about it for a sec. but just couldn't trade! So.. then he followed
me to the country club and joined in the gang...I'm telling you, those P cars
are just irresistible... you better beware when u get in yours : ))))
CHAR: But you have to admit, watching the webring repartee
from a woman's perspective is humorous at times.
OH REALLY?....ONLY AT TIMES, SHUCKS : )))))
SURE HOPE TO MEET YOU SOMEDAY, MAYBE VEGAS, THAT'D BE SUPER... SAY.. MAYBE WE
CAN BOTH BE IN THE SILVER STATE AND TAKE ON THE NEW JAPANESE WOMEN TEAM, THAT
SHOULD RATE AN ARTICLE & T-SHIRT OR TWO.
TAKE CARE AND HAVE FUN WHEN U GET THAT BEAUTY!!! I LOVE ANOTHER WILD PANTERA
WOMAN : )
Best to U,
Laurie
